MONEY, MONEY, MONEY - Learn How to Play the Money Game
Heidi is a trained Money Game coach. This is a fun way of learning about personal finance. Simulations, activities, and games. Learn the principles of money in a way that will be remembered. We also play the Stock Market Game, an online real-time investing game where students get $100,000 to invest in the market (sorry—it’s not real $.) This is the most important and applicable class your student will take during high school.
MEETING TIMES: Mondays, 2:00-3:25 pm

MEET YOUR TEACHER - Heidi Christianson
Heidi Christianson has a diverse background in education. She has her California teaching credential and has taught in the university, community college, private school, and charter school environments. She has also been homeschooling her five sons for two decades. Her quest to personalize her own children’s education has led her on a journey that has included helping found her local Liber Community (a homeschool co-op), writing her own curriculum, public speaking (CHN Family Expo, Great Homeschool Convention, Back to Basics Forum), and putting on several conferences (Realizing Genius Homeschool).
