ENTREPRENEUR GAME PLAN - An Online Business

Students will build their own business and a website to share it with the world! We will be focusing on advertising, consumer behavior, basic graphic design, and the tech that you need to know to get a simple website started.

The characteristics needed by entrepreneurs – creativity, passion, motivation, communication, optimism,
vision, and more – will serve students in whatever path they choose to follow. This class will introduce them
to these characteristics and help them develop them by building their own business and a website. It is a fun
and engaging class that is immediately applicable to students’ lives.

We will be focusing on advertising, consumer behavior, basic graphic design, and the tech that you need to
know to get a simple website started. This will include developing products and services that are easily sold
online.

Heidi Christianson’s Entrepreneur Game Plan class has been an enriching experience for my boys. They have learned how to brainstorm business ideas, identify their target market, write a business plan, and learn graphic skills to help market their business! They were able to have a very successful entrepreneur fair with all the skills they have learned this semester. Heidi Christianson engages them with games that teach them about business and money as well as analyzes successful businesses, past and present. Entrepreneurship is the way of the future, and I’m thankful they have been given the opportunity to learn how to be one!
